Recruitment Program Overview
The Business Recruitment Grants are designed to attract new businesses to Downtown Johnstown. The focus is on developing a mix of restaurants and retail shops following the 10/10/10 Rule: at least ten food service establishments, ten destination retail shops, and ten of these shops open after 6:00 p.m. This initiative aims to create a lively and diverse commercial environment that meets the needs of residents and visitors alike.
Process
Small grants are available to new downtown businesses or to existing businesses that are relocating to the Downtown Johnstown area. These grants aim to stimulate economic growth and create job opportunities for residents. If you are a business owner planning to start a business in or move your business to Downtown Johnstown, we encourage you to apply for a Business Recruitment Grant.
